Copyright takedown notice
Your notice should include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it;
- your contact information;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Counter-notice
If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice that includes the information required by the DMCA.
Repeat infringers
MaxwellX may terminate accounts or access for repeat infringers when appropriate.
Important
To seek certain DMCA safe-harbor protections, a service provider generally must make agent contact information publicly available and designate the same information with the U.S. Copyright Office.
