Transduction
Turn a force change into a signal.
A field or boundary effect becomes useful when it can be read. MaxwellX studies transduction paths that convert force, motion, capacitance, heat, and light into electrical signatures.
Readout families
Oscillator shift
A geometry-dependent force gradient changes effective stiffness. The shift can be read as frequency movement.
Capacitive readout
Geometry changes plate spacing, field distribution, or dielectric environment. The result can be read as capacitance or impedance change.
Piezoelectric readout
A mechanical change becomes voltage in a piezoelectric element.
Photothermal readout
Light absorption creates heat gradients, which can change resistance, voltage, current, or motion.
RF/field readout
A geometry change alters coupling, reflection, resonance, or transmission.
Current stage
Experimental Path.
