State Privacy Rights

Certain U.S. state privacy laws may give residents additional rights. This Notice is intended to supplement the Privacy Policy.

States potentially covered

Depending on MaxwellX’s size, revenue, processing volume, data practices, and user locations, state privacy laws may include California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others.

Rights that may apply

Depending on your state, you may have the right to:

• confirm whether we process your personal information;
• access personal information;
• correct inaccurate personal information;
• delete personal information;
• obtain a portable copy;
• opt out of sale of personal information;
• opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising;
• opt out of targeted advertising;
• opt out of profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects;
• limit certain uses of sensitive personal information;
• appeal a denied privacy request.

California notice

California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale/sharing, limit certain sensitive information use, and non-discrimination for exercising rights.

Sale/share/targeted advertising

MaxwellX does not currently sell personal information for money. MaxwellX does not sell personal information, does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and does not use targeted advertising or retargeting pixels. If MaxwellX ever introduces such activities, it will first provide the required notices and opt-out tools.

Global Privacy Control

Where required by law, MaxwellX will honor recognized opt-out preference signals for applicable sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or similar activities.

If we deny your request and your state provides an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to our decision email with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line.
