Christopher Hill founded MaxwellX to give frontier physics a place to become instruments, experiments and systems. Its central interest is how geometry, fields, light, boundaries and materials change what a system can do.
That curiosity extends into three other ventures: Weatherhill, Death X and Karam Bioscience. Each has its own question, development path and evidence—not a shared claim of scientific validation.
Christopher sets direction, connects ideas across disciplines and develops the programs, digital tools and collaborations needed for the next step. The goal is not simply to describe an ambitious future. It is to make the next useful piece of work possible.

01 / FIELD PHYSICS / CONCEPT ARTGeometry, electromagnetic fields, light and living systems. MaxwellX develops research directions around instruments, models and experiments—including FieldLab’s Helios One living-energy project.
02 / ATMOSPHERIC WATER / CONCEPT ARTFog, visibility, atmospheric water and the physical forces that affect them. FogLab is the proposed experimental platform; airport and infrastructure programs connect those questions to real operating decisions.
03 / BIOLOGICAL + DIGITAL PRESERVATION / CONCEPT ARTA proposed archive connecting biological material with the original records of a life. Death X explores preservation and future possibilities without treating an archive as proof of memory transfer, continued consciousness or revival.
04 / CELLULAR HEALTH / CONCEPT ARTCellular aging, cellular health and functional restoration. Karam connects evidence, research tools and proposed study programs to a practical question: what would demonstrate that a cell does its job better?
Connected through their founder; each venture has its own scope and development stage. These links are not a statement of shared clinical approvals, experimental results or commercial readiness.
FieldLab reports an initial electrical response during a Helios One live-culture test on the evening of October 15. That is the starting point for the next work: repeatability, matched controls and careful measurement.
Founder-reported initial observation. The mechanism, attribution to the living culture and useful power output have not yet been established.
A cell losing function. An airfield losing visibility. An electrical response without an explanation. Start with the question, not the conclusion.
Define the observation, the controls and the result that would change the direction. Bring the right scientific and engineering expertise to that work.
An instrument, a clearer decision, a research tool or a better experiment. Progress should leave something another person can inspect and use.
Christopher names his uncle, Dr. John Harvey Karam, as a formative influence. The standard he carries forward is personal: take the science seriously, treat people with dignity and remember whom the work is for.
Ambition and humility belong in the same room. So do rigorous work and respect for the people doing it.
