What this site does today.
Optional Google Analytics is off by default for every visitor. The site does not load the Google tag until you choose “Accept analytics.” Rejecting analytics leaves the research pages, models, and inquiry forms available.
You can reopen the choice from “Cookie preferences” in the footer. Withdrawing consent disables analytics events, attempts to remove first-party Google Analytics cookies, and prevents the tag from loading on subsequent pages. Data previously sent to a provider cannot be recalled by a browser preference change.

Browser storage and cookies can be cleared through browser settings. Host logging and mail delivery are separate from optional analytics.
What a Helios inquiry sends.
The Helios form sends your name, email, selected inquiry type, optional organization, message, submission acknowledgment, and optional update permission to the MaxwellX team. The page path and any source/medium/campaign parameters attached to the page may also be included with your submission. A receipt timestamp and the consent-text version are added to the message.
Submitting a question does not automatically grant permission for optional research emails. For an updates-only request, that permission is required. Updates are handled by the team; there is no automatic newsletter provider connected in this release.
Third-party websites.
Publisher, repository, and other external links take you to sites with their own practices. The new Helios section does not embed their pages or load their measurement data. Its artwork and essential scripts are served with the website.
Retained legacy pages may request web fonts from Google Fonts. The new Helios pages use system fonts without external font requests. Optional analytics controls do not govern the behavior of a third-party site after you choose to visit it.
